15 Inspirational Quotes from Famous Danes (in English)
Moving to a new country can be a bit stressful at times. It often requires us to leave behind people and things that give us comfort to help us through difficult situations. When you are in a new place, things aren’t familiar and finding comfort and guidance might not be as easy as anticipated. We become a bit more reliant on ourselves to carry us through, and the added pressures of having to learn a new language and new customs can tire a person both mentally and physically. It is very important to keep your faith in yourself and stay positive.

Hi Kelly – great blog, and always great to learn how we Danes are, seen with foreign eyes. One correction though: Prediction is very difficult, especially about the future. This is not by Niels Bohr, but by Robert Storm Petersen, a Frederiksberg cartoonist (and a whole lot of other things).

Thanks so much, Jørgen. I’ll fix that. I found these quotes very interesting, and I really love quotes from Kierkegaard. I could have written this post just about him! 🙂 Always glad to have a Danish reader.
Take care,
Kelly
